FIFI

FIFI ROSENBLAT

Movement and acrobatics have been my language since I was five. After six years of competitive gymnastics, I took a long break — and it wasn’t until my twenties that I discovered the colorful circus scene in Israel, along with the fact that my body still remembers how to move and the joy within it. That realization eventually led me to Carampa Circus School in Madrid, where I specialized in partner acrobatics, teeterboard, and handstands, and formed a female trio with Moran Shoval and Libby Haliday.
In Barcelona, I met Fernando Melki, my partner in both life and acro. Since then, we’ve been training, performing, teaching — and driving each other crazy — while enjoying the journey.
I’ve performed with companies such as Faltan 7, Grop, MESHUBAH, and Cía. Uno Más, and I’ll soon be performing with UpArte in their upcoming creation.
Together with Fer, we’ve spent over seven years teaching at acro conventions, festivals, and training programs across Europe.
As a teacher, my eye is naturally drawn to the flyer — searching for the right path, shape, rhythm, and state of mind in every movement, but what excites me most is learning how to accompany each acrobat on their own individual path — listening to where they are in their process, and finding together the approach that best supports their growth and the dynamics within their duo/group of work.

ELLI

Elisabeth Künkele

Elli was born and raised in Bielefeld, Germany, where she first fell in love with circus as a child – youngster. Before committing to it as her profession, she spent a year in South America combining social work and travel, completed a BA in Environmental Science, trained for seven months at the circus school in Beijing, and spent a year in Edinburgh, Scotland.
In 2018, she graduated as a hand-to-hand flyer from SKH in Stockholm, Sweden, and has been working ever since as both a performer and teacher. Elli has collaborated with a variety of companies, mainly in Scandinavia, including Cirkus Cirkör, Kompani Giraff, Kaaos Kaamos, the Royal Theatre of Denmark, and Flow Productions, among others.
Her greatest strengths lie in bringing other people’s creative ideas to life, approaching her work with care, humour and optimism and generously sharing her expertise in hand-to-hand acrobatics with anyone eager to learn.

FER

FERNANDO MELKI

Fer is a long time circus artist and performer. He has been evolving in the circus world for many years in Barcelona and Europe, working for prestigious companies and teaching in circus schools at a high level.

Fer has been a hand to hand teacher for 13 years. For him, acrobatics and aesthetics comes together combined with hard work. He is passionate about teaching, searching for nuance, always ready with a comment to lighten the mood during a hard training session.

He likes to use any object at his disposal to refine technique and take the body through the right learning path.

TOM

TOM MÖRTL

Tom is a dynamic and skilled circus artist and teacher with a rich background in acrobatics. He began his journey in Dutch acrobatics, later enhancing his skills with Ukrainian techniques. His work was further refined under the mentorship of Europe’s best and experienced coaches and colleagues in the circus world.

Born in Bavaria, Germany, Tom explored many sports before discovering acrobatics at 18. While studying chemical engineering, he developed a passion for performance, joining acrobatic groups across Europe. In 2014, after an „early-life crisis,“ he left his studies and became a guest student at ACAPA circus school in Tilburg, marking the start of his career. Since then, Tom has performed at prestigious festivals, theaters, circuses, and dance shows across Europe and beyond.

Known for his sharp wit, love of comedy, and relaxed approach to life, Tom’s playful nature is a key component of his teaching and performance style. His acrobatics combine technical precision with an effortless flair, and his teaching reflects this balance of discipline and creativity. He believes that acrobatics and aesthetics can only truly flourish when supported by a strong foundation of technique, discipline, and mental focus.

As a teacher, Tom incorporates humor, challenges, and a deep understanding of technique into his practice. His wide-ranging knowledge, built from diverse backgrounds and experiences, allows him to create intelligent progressions and provide personalized cues to help students reach their potential. His goal is to make professional training accessible to recreational and semi-professional acrobats. Tom has also founded training programs such as „Acromania“ and „Airtime Acrobatics“ to further this mission. His dedication to teaching ensures that students develop not only their skills but also a sustainable and healthy approach to acrobatics.
